Who We Are

Gateway is a 501(c)3 private not-for-profit community rehabilitation organization incorporated in the state of Michigan, providing habilitation and rehabilitation services to children, teens, adults and their families. We enable people with disabilities and other barriers to achieve their potential through therapeutic services, vocational opportunities, training, community life skills and other supports.
 
Gateway is governed by a volunteer Board of Directors that is representative of the community. To carry out its mission, Gateway partners with other organizations to promote positive and sustained change for individuals with disabilities and other barriers
 
Gateway is a United Way Partner Agency and is supported through United Way funding, Medicaid funding, fees for services, industrial contracts and donations. The following specific programs are accredited by CARF International, the Rehabilitation Accreditation Commission:
